In 9 Ball Pool, there are nine colored balls (numbered 1 to 9) and one white ball you use to hit them. The balls are set up in a diamond shape. Your job is to hit the lowest numbered ball on the table first with the white ball each time. If you do that and sink any ball, you keep going. The big goal is to sink the 9-ball in a legal way to win.

When you start, you break (you hit from the front). You must hit the 1 ball first. If some balls land in or meet certain spread rules, you continue. If you break badly or do something wrong, your friend gets a special turn where they can put the white ball anywhere and shoot.

You win the game when you sink the 9-ball properly. You don’t always have to clear every ball first. Sometimes you can hit the 1-ball first, then make a trick or combo so the 9-ball goes in, and you win right then. That makes 9 Ball Pool fun because things can change fast.
