FNF DBZ Tenkaichi: Gohan VS Majin Buu is a Friday Night Funkin’ mod based on the famous battle between Ultimate Gohan and Super Buu from Dragon Ball Z. Boyfriend does not take part in this battle. Instead, you play from Gohan’s side and try to keep up with the music while the two powerful fighters face each other.
The battle starts high in the sky with Gohan and Buu moving at great speed. The scene changes as the song continues, and the fight eventually reaches the ground.
The mod uses plenty of character animations during the music. Gohan and Buu attack each other, fire energy blasts, and use moves inspired by their Dragon Ball battle while you continue playing the rhythm chart.
Play The Meteor in Two Different Versions
The mod focuses on one main song called The Meteor, but you can play it in two forms.
The Meteor (Dub) uses the English-style voices and presentation.
The Meteor (Sub) uses the Japanese version of the voices and gives the battle a different sound.
Both versions follow the same Gohan and Buu showdown, but the different voice tracks let you choose the style you prefer.
The song changes scenes during the performance instead of keeping both characters in one place. The early section follows the aerial chase, while later parts move into a closer ground fight filled with attacks and energy effects.
Watch the Fight While Following the Notes
The game mixes normal Friday Night Funkin’ note hitting with Dragon Ball-style action. The interface and health display take inspiration from the Budokai Tenkaichi fighting games, which helps the rhythm battle feel closer to a Dragon Ball fight.
Mid-song events happen while you play. Gohan and Buu may rush at each other, attack, land on the ground, or fire energy blasts while the notes continue moving.
These animations can make the screen busy, so keep most of your attention on the note arrows. Missing several notes can lower your health and eventually make you lose the battle.
There is also a power-up element during the performance, along with small gameplay Easter eggs for players who explore the mod closely.
Keep Your Rhythm Until the Final Attack
The Meteor moves through several stages before reaching its ending. Some parts feel calmer, while other sections become faster and show more action between Gohan and Buu.
Do not press the keys as soon as you see a note appear. Wait until the moving arrow reaches its matching symbol before hitting the correct direction.
Long notes need to be held until they finish. Missing a note once will not normally end the battle, but repeated mistakes can empty your health bar.
Stay focused through the aerial chase, the ground battle, and the final part of the song. Reach the end with enough health remaining to complete Gohan’s fight against Super Buu.
