Dig Underground and Gather Resources
Digger Escape is a mining and building game set in a world where dangerous artificial intelligence has taken control and destroyed cities. A group of engineers escapes into the forest with an old drilling machine. They plan to gather enough materials to build a rocket and leave Earth.
You drive the drilling machine into the ground and collect resources hidden below the surface. Stone, coal, copper, silver, wood, and other useful materials can be found as you explore. The deeper you dig, the more valuable resources you can discover.
Your machine cannot carry everything forever. Return to the base when you need to unload what you have collected and prepare for another mining trip.
Sell Materials and Improve Your Drill
Resources can be sold to earn money. You can then spend your earnings on upgrades that make your drilling machine more useful.
The garage lets you improve different parts of the vehicle. Better drilling equipment helps you break tougher ground and reach deeper areas. You can also improve things such as storage and fuel capacity.
More than 20 drill and tool options become available as you progress. Different equipment can help with different jobs, so upgrading your machine becomes an important part of reaching valuable materials faster.
Try not to spend all your time digging near the surface. Better resources appear deeper underground and can help you progress much faster.
Build New Facilities at Your Base
Your base grows as you collect more materials. There are eight different buildings to construct, and each one gives you new ways to use the resources you find.
Some facilities let you process raw materials into more useful products. Coal can help produce fuel, while metals such as copper and silver can be turned into materials needed for bigger projects.
You can also get workers who help around the base. This makes it easier to handle the growing amount of work as your mining operation becomes larger.
Keep returning to the base to check what you can build or improve. A new building may unlock something that helps you gather resources faster.
Build the Rocket and Escape Earth
The final goal is to finish a huge rocket. You cannot build it all at once. The rocket has 25 construction stages, and each stage needs resources you gather during your mining trips.
Later parts require more work because you need rarer materials and better equipment. Upgrading your drill early can save time when you begin searching deeper underground.
The map is generated with different resource locations, so exploring new areas is important. Meteorites can also bring rare materials that may become useful for your project.
Keep mining, selling, upgrading, and building until every part of the rocket is complete. Once the final stage is ready, the engineers finally have their way to escape the planet.
How to Play
Use WASD or the Arrow Keys to move.
Press Spacebar or F to activate the drill.
Press E to open your storage.
Press P to pause the game.
Drive into mining areas and drill through the ground to collect resources.
Return to your base when your storage starts filling up.
Sell materials and spend your earnings on better equipment.
Build the eight available facilities and use them to improve your operation.
Complete all 25 rocket stages to finish the escape plan.
