Bullet Bros lets you play as two brothers who carry big blasters and go on a loud action mission together. The brothers stay tied to each other with a rope the whole time, so they have to move like a team. You do not press a jump button like in many games. You shoot the gun, and the blast pushes your body through the air. You fly forward, spin around, and try to land in a safe spot while you keep shooting bad robots and other enemies. You also unlock more outfits and more guns as you play longer.

In Bullet Bros, the levels look messy and dangerous. There are metal blocks, laser turrets, missiles, and places that explode if you hit them. The rope between the brothers matters in every room. If one brother swings over a gap, the rope can lift the other brother. If one brother gets stuck under a ledge, the rope can pull him out. Sometimes the rope also makes trouble, because you can slam into each other or crash into a wall if you move at the wrong time. You need to stay calm and work with the rope instead of fighting it.

Bullet Bros also lets two people play together in the same place. Each player takes one brother, and both players try to help each other get through the level. You blast machines, dodge traps, and cross big gaps without losing either brother. If one brother falls, the other brother can still save the run by pulling him up fast. The game keeps throwing harder enemies and trickier rooms, so you get better by learning timing, aim, and teamwork. Bullet Bros feels fast, loud, and full of action from start to finish.
